Despite some controversy, the successful erotic film “365 Days” from Netflix is getting not just one, but two more parts.
The Polish erotic film ” 365 Days ” turned out to be a real surprise hit for Netflix after its start in 2020. However, the film was received controversially by many viewers and critics. After all, the film is about a mafia boss who kidnaps a woman so that she falls in love with him. Despite the criticism, ” 365 Days 2 ” was announced shortly after the start of the first part.
Fans can look forward to not just one, but two sequels, as Deadline reports. These are to be shot one after the other and published on Netflix as early as 2022. In part 2 of the Netflix film, Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) and Massimo ( Michele Morrone ) will be united, but problems soon arise. Both Massimo’s family ties and a mysterious man who steps into Laura’s life complicate their relationship.
Actors And Directors Return For “365 Days” Sequels
The main actors Michelle Morrone as Don Massimo Torricelli, Anna-Maria Sieklucka as Laura Biel, and Magdalena Lamparska as Olga will slip back into their familiar roles and Simone Susanna will appear as the new character named Nacho. There is also little new behind the camera. Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes will be directing again and Blanka Lipińska (author of the novel) will also work on “365 Days 2”.
The controversy surrounding “365 Days”, which is often referred to as a Polish version of “ Fifty Shades of Gray ”, even sparked a petition demanding that the film be removed from the streaming service. Netflix responded by referring to a high age rating and the fact that they only bought the film and thus had no direct influence on the content. Since parts 2 and 3 are now produced directly by Netflix, it is to be expected that the topic will be approached more sensitively and with differences to the plot.
