Friends have finally released its first trailer, as HBO Max, part of WarnerMedia, this Thursday has calmed the cravings of its fans, as it revealed that it will be on May 27 when it hits the screens.
It turns out that the company made the announcement accompanied by a 40-second trailer showing the cast, hugging and holding hands, walking toward Warner Bros. Studio 24, followed by the meeting’s title:
“The One Where They Get Back Together.”
It seems that the beautiful Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer filmed the special at the iconic Warner Bros. Stage 24, in Burbank, California.
What Is The Friends Reunion About?
According to HBO Max, the cast will participate in an unscripted celebration of the acclaimed series. This special episode will feature special guests such as former footballer David Beckham, singer Justin Bieber.
But as if that weren’t enough, there will also be k-pop icons BTS, former supermodel Cindy Crawford, actor Kit Harington, Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, among others.
It should be noted that the special was directed by Ben Winston. The series creators, Marta Kauffman and David Crane were executive producers along with Kevin S. Bright, who was also a producer on the series. If we remember the last episode of Friends aired on May 6, 2004. The series ran for 10 seasons. The first of them was released in September 1994.
After all these years, Friends is still one of the most iconic sitcoms the entertainment industry has ever witnessed, its fanbase has been kept increasing with each passing day, and voices for a Friends Reunion have been on the top for a long time. Previously it was rumored that the Friends cast will return to film a movie or a bunch of episodes but later HBO Max clarified that it is neither. This is the second biggest premiere on the streaming service HBO Max followed by DC’s Justice League: Snyder Cut. The Friends Reunion arrives on May 27 only at HBO Max.
