The season 4 Cobra Kai will not be released until later this year, but the creators of the original series now Netflix are sure they have at hand something big for his followers. This has been assured in statements during a recent event organized by Yahoo, according to Collider, in which they have promised great changes in this new stage, but always maintaining the essence that has made the sequel to Karate Kid have triumphed among the new hearings.
The three Cobra Kai co-creators, Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, were present at the event, where they talked about season 3 of the series and what can be expected of the fourth installment, whose filming recently ended for entering the post-production phase directly.
What did they reveal about the new episodes? Well, they will respond to the goal they have always set themselves: “Continue providing that dopamine that generates pleasant emotions” and make sure to continue giving us “goosebumps and also causing both tears and great laughter while we pump our fists.”
“It’s the same recipe with different flavors and everything in between, but it’s even bigger,” Heald promised.“We’re really proud of what we’ve been doing so far. I can’t wait for you to see what is being done.”
Set 34 years after Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) defeated Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) in 1984 All Valley Tournament that hosted The Karate Kid, Cobra Kai has managed to become a real bombshell among new audiences. At the beginning of the original YouTube Premium series, Netflix did not take long to look at the title and managed to turn it into one of its original fictions in its third season, which premiered earlier this year.
Now, fans are looking forward to the fourth season that promises great surprises and moments of impact, comebacks, emotions, great fight choreography, and, as its creators assure, to raise the level even more if possible.
The season 4 Cobra Kai opens to the full-on Netflix later this year, although no exact date has been announced.
