About Highschool of the dead
Highschool of the Dead is a manga series about zombies. It is a Japanese manga – it was episodic in the magazine Monthly Dragon Age. Daisuke Satō made it and Shōji Satō helped him with it. They told stories about high school students who are in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. The American company Yen Press published Highschool of the Dead in North America, and there are seven volumes so far.
This is an anime series that was made by the company Madhouse. It has 12 episodes and it covers the first four books. It premiered in Japan from July 5 to September 20, 2010. There’s also a special episode called “Episode 0,” which came out in 2011. Sentai Filmworks released this series on DVD and Blu-ray for people who speak English in North America.

Highschool Of The Dead Season 2 Update:
There are no updates on when Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead will come out. There was a special episode in 2011, but not much else. For now, there is still hope that it will happen because there is some manga content that wasn’t adapted for the screen.
The creators of the show are not interested in working with it anymore, so a new company would have to start the second season. There are rumors that it might be taken up by an American company, but that is just a rumor. We will update this post if there is any new information.
