The order was passed by President Biden on 9 September 2021 for the vaccine mandate for the Federal Employees. The main reason behind such a decision was to ensure the health and safety of the personnel working for the Government.

President Biden also suggested the concerned departments where the employees are yet to receive the vaccination counsel and educate them about receiving the initial dose of vaccine.
The Biden Administration is focussing on encouraging more and more people to get vaccinated as it is the only way to keep themselves safe and protected from the virus attack.
According to the Chief Medical Adviser, Dr. Fauci has stated that approximately 60 million American citizens are unvaccinated and have become a major threat to the entire nation. The average covid 19 cases per day have come closer to 100,000 and the major proportion is coming from the unvaccinated people.
The government vaccination rate is higher than the overall American immunization rate. At least one dosage has been given to 82.2 percent of adult Americans, or over 212 million people.
The agency for International Development is topping the charts with a vaccination rate of 97 percent, followed by the Department of Commerce, Department of Defence, labor, Environmental protection agency averaging close to 93 percent.
The vaccination rate of the Department of Education and the Department of State is 95 percent and 96 percent respectively.
The success rate shown by all the Central Government departments has shown positive signs for the other state departments and private business houses to urge and educate their employees to get vaccinated.
With the winters around the corner, all the federal and state medical agencies are on high alert as the number of cases will increase with a significant percentage.
