In Texas, The Hospitalization Rate Has Decreased

The state of Texas has seen a major surge in the past few weeks especially during the start of this month. The Holiday season started and the spread of the virus will also increase. The good news is the reduction in the hospitalization rate but on the other hand, the cases are increasing at a fast pace.

Texas state health agencies are seeing this as a positive sign but they have also warned the people that the winters can be worse if precautions are not taken properly.

In Texas, The Hospitalization Rate Has Decreased

El Paso experienced a surge in hospital admissions at the beginning of November. Unvaccinated people were responsible for the majority of COVID cases. The bulk of the patients was diagnosed with heart disease or diabetes. Just like the State of Colorado, The scenario in texas also leads to the scarcity of ICU beds and hospital staff. The reduction in the nursing staff is due to mental harassment, double shifts, increase in anxiety level, and other problems.

In Texas, The Hospitalization Rate Has Decreased

On the one hand, while the vast majority of people in the United States have had their complete dose of vaccines (60 percent population), and at least 82 percent have received the single dose of the vaccine, almost 60 million people are still unvaccinated. Similarly, Texas has a high vaccination rate, but it is causing a problem since some people refuse to get vaccinated.

To increase the vaccination rate, the state medical agencies must set up counseling sessions to prepare them for the vaccine. This year approximately 29,000 citizens in texas have left the world due to virus attacks and only 92 percent of the cases were from unvaccinated people. The citizens over 65 age are more prone to the virus attack

The state medical agencies have also urged eligible adults to receive their dose of booster vaccine as it will help in increasing the immunity level and will protect the body against the virus attack.

Approximately 75% of Texans have virus protection, and they are safe from the virus. This isn’t to say they won’t catch the virus or spread it. To prevent the virus from spreading further, it is critical that people get fully vaccinated and, if necessary, get a booster shot.

Holidays are a time to spend with loved ones, and if these celebrations cause another surge in Texas like January, it could be deadly for everyone.

.It is not just about the increasing number of cases, but also about the problems that healthcare providers are having to deal with as a result of people’s failure to take precautions. The return of flu season and a rash of respiratory outbreaks could put additional strain on hospitals that have already been decimated by staffing shortages and three coronavirus surges, potentially leaving precious few beds available if another COVID-19 surge occurs.

Texans, like residents of any other state, must take precautions and undergo regular COVID testing to protect themselves from the virus.
