As per the news, there is a huge demand from the medical authorities and hospitals to reduce the Covid 19 isolation time period which is 10 days for the health care workers.
The hospital authorities have suggested the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cut down the quarantine time from 10 days to 7 days and further 5 days if the symptoms disappear and the reports come negative.

Furthermore, yesterday the aviation companies have also raised their concerns over the shortage of labor and the officials have suggested reducing the isolation time to seven days in order to curb the shortage of labor at the airports.
On the eve of Christmas Day, approximately 4500 flights were canceled due to the rising cases of the omicron variant amongst the staff members.

He also stated that the peak will increase and will slow down in some time as the omicron variant is not deadly as in the case of the delta version of coronavirus and it is also expected that the hospital admission rate will increase but not like during the time of delta subtype.
