The judge changed Mingyi Su and Mark’s medals! Shame!”. The judgment became an issue after the head of snowboard judges for the men’s slopestyle final at the 2022 Winter Olympics games admitted the fault.

In the men’s slopestyle final conducted on Monday in Beijing, Max Parrot won the gold medal and first position and received a score of 90.96 and China’s Su Yiming ranked the second position in the game and received a score of 88.70.

Iztok Somatic, the head of snowboarding judges said in an interview with the top sports magazine, Whitelines that, “the judging team was not provided with the replay that the audience saw on the television broadcast. Basically, we judged what we saw. And what we saw was a grab and a well-executed switch frontside 16-from the point of view of a camera that we were given. But I did indeed see the image that viewers saw on television, which shows clearly Parrot’s turnover, but it was too late as the score was already in. it would be different scores if we had seen that Max Parrot missed the grab”.

Max Parrot – The Reigning Olympic Champion in slopestyle

Max Parrot is a Canadian snowboarder and was born on June 6, 1994, in Quebec. He won the gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics and also won a silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He started skiing at the age of 3 and snowboarding at the age of 9. In 2014, he has made history by landing consecutive triple jumps in a slopestyle run. But in 2018, December 21 he was diagnosed with cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma) and went through several stages of chemotherapy. Later, he recovered and return to the normal stage. After winning the gold medal on Monday, he said, “It feels amazing. So much went by in those last four years. The last time I was at the Olympics, in Pyeongchang, I got a silver medal, and then I had to go through cancer. It was a nightmare, it’s so hard to describe what I have been through. You have no cardio. You have no energy. You have no muscles. To be back out here, at the Olympics, on a podium again but with a gold medal, it feels amazing”.
