What happened to Chris Jewel ?
After losing control of the guide rope and being forced to slip into the deep cave pit, Chris was seen near the film’s conclusion in major danger. He was forced to continue without any certainty or confidence in his bearings as he seemed a bit lost.
Despite all the efforts of the volunteers, the viewer can see the rain continuing to fall and the cave being flooded again. Jason and Chai returned home without incident.
Chris was observed securing his son while doing so, but the surroundings clearly rattled and confused him. He was then seen hiding and waiting for help to arrive. Rick, who was nearby, asked her to wait for Harry and give him specific instructions to obey Harry’s orders before leaving.
After a while, Harry was observed walking over to Chris’ location and carefully inspecting the youngster. Harry was spotted taking charge of transporting the boy after a brief debate. The remaining Navy Seals were then seen emerging from the caverns.
As everyone waited impatiently for Chris and the other Navy Seals, Harry was seen arriving with the youngster.
Chris was eventually seen surviving at the very end. Before anyone could rejoice, however, the floods got much worse and the last of the seals to appear was observed to be in grave peril.
The pumps began to explode at some point and it appeared that the cave needed to be quickly evacuated. Before the celebrations could begin, the last seals were seen leaving one by one. The divers were very relieved to have reached the safe area, but Chris seemed rather surprised by his close call.
