Waleeporn originally met his wife when she was a young girl in Nakhon Phanom, where his family is located. The 23-year-old military sailor arrived to compete in a triathlon before bumping into him at a nearby park.

They continued to lead a quiet life until June 23, 2018. Then, together with their 25-year-old instructor, twelve Wild Boar Academy football players, aged 11 to 16, embarked on an unfortunate journey.
