Dallas Mark Roberts was born on May 10, 1970 in Houston, Texas, United States. Not much is known about his parents, but he was raised in his hometown with his younger brother, Bryan.

He first attended the local Paul Revere Middle School, then went to Robert E. Lee High School in southwest Houston. During his high school years, his family moved to Sarasota, Florida, USA where he enrolled in Sarasota High School in 1988.
