Spoiler warning
In the series, we see that Druig is now the leader of Prime Eternal and tries to “correct excessive deviation” in Krakoa. Later we see that The X-Men are joined by The Avengers on Judgment Day #1.
Iron Man works with Ajak, Makkari and Mister Sinister to awaken a “new God” which can prevent Druig from creating more havoc. The plan succeeds to some extent, but later the celestial being starts addressing the entire planet and says it’s “Judgment Day” for everyone.
“You kids are bickering, this planet is ruined. You have acted with relentless meanness towards each other. You leave me no options. This is your judgment day. You have 24 hours to justify yourself. You will be judged individually. You will be judged collectively. If there are more righteous than wicked, you will live. But if you are found missing, there will be no tomorrow.
The question ends with this judgment of the Celestial. Thinking about the Marvel Comics teaser and this celestial being’s judgment can only make fans worried about what’s next or what’s written in the fate of The X-Men.
The new era of Marvel Comics’ X-Men begins in January 2023.
