Milena Govich was born on October 29, 1976 in Norman, Oklahoma USA to Dr. Bruce Micheal Govich and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich.
Both of her parents are music teachers and inspired Milena’s interest in music.
Her father, who died in 1993, taught at the University of Oklahoma, and her mother still teaches voice at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. Her father was of Serbian descent and her mother a mixture of Scottish and English lineage. Milena’s aunt, Melica Govich, is also an actress, who has appeared on television and in Broadway plays.
