The first episode of Disney Plus’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has already graced our screens, and it may have finally addressed the age-old debate of whether or not She-Hulk is more powerful than Hulk.
The program’s pilot episode skims over the protagonist’s backstory. In literature, Jessica Walters transforms into She-Hulk by receiving a blood transfusion from Bruce Banner. In the film adaptation, however, Walters and Banner are in a car collision in which the former consumes a lethal dose of Hulk blood.
When they arrive, Banner takes him to the seaside hideaway he and Tony Stark have created, where he has managed to control his rage and transforms into “Smart Hulk”.
Compared to her brother, Jessica learns that the Hulk moves much faster because she doesn’t have a doppelganger to guide her through the process. Jessica picks up on all the treats fairly quickly, unlike Bruce who struggled to suppress his intelligent monster persona.
Her rapid transformation into a full-fledged Hulk causes her to waste too much time on her old life as a lawyer, which ultimately results in a fight with her cousin. In the first chapter, She-Hulk confronts the Hulk. Who will win?
So who packs the most punch?
In the latest Disney Plus series premiere, She-Hulk appears to be way above the regular Hulk, in that the former may even be powerful compared to Bruce. When Bruce leads Jessica through various training sessions, she constantly outplays him and she also has the advantage when they fight.
She struggled at first to replicate the classic maneuver, but eventually she perfected her own style, which is much more impressive. A prominent scene shows the Hulk incapacitating her with his thunderclap. She struggled at first to replicate the classic maneuver, but eventually she perfected her own style, which is much more impressive. The two fought a fair fight, and neither of them came out on top.
Unlike how he’s been shown in the books, the classic Hulk really does possess a lot less power in the movies. In the stories, She-Hulk herself confesses that Bruce’s Hulk is tougher than her. She adds that the Hulk punches almost a million times harder than her.
Immortal Hulk also shows that she cannot defeat her cousin after receiving a huge power boost. The Hulk, as portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, has already been relegated to supporting status and used mostly for laughs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Bruce’s Hulk has a chance to prove itself better than She-Hulk: Attorney at Law since the program still has eight episodes to cover. The rematch between She-Hulk and Bruce is doubtful, however, as She-Hulk has little incentive to participate.
