Set approximately 200 years before the events of game of thrones, Dragon House with Matt Smith and Emma D’Arcy follows the ancestors of Daenerys Stormborn, the Targaryen. The series is based on the book fire and blood by George RR Martin.

Similar to game of thrones, the new show features many political drama themes such as ambition, betrayal and violence. The series will also feature more dragons than fans saw on the original show.

Despite the intention of the showrunners and George RR Martin to represent more gray characters, it seems that some characters such as Demon Targaryen are bad enough already. Being impulsive and arrogant, these characters only cause chaos in The world of ice and fire.

But maybe we’re too quick to judge, considering how game of thrones was able to paint figures such as Jaime Lannister and Sandor Clegane in a sympathetic light, we could see Dragon House do the same.
Daemon Targaryen would have supported Daenerys?
Despite being nearly two centuries apart, one can still see similarities between Daemon Targaryen and Daenerys, played by Emilia Clarke in game of thrones. Some similarities include, both being deprived of the throne and portrayed as impulsive and irascible.

Daemon Targaryen has also been shown to have a bit of remorse killing loads of people, like Daenerys. Reacting to the interesting theory, Matt Smith said his character, Daemon Targaryen allegedly joined Daenerys in setting fire to King’s Landing. He said:
“He would have been on the dragon’s back with her…it’s ours.” Get out of the way”

Daenerys burned down King’s Landing in the final season of game of thrones, which led to many fans hating the episode as they felt there wasn’t enough buildup.
