Thomas Michael ‘Tom’ Moore was born under the zodiac sign Gemini on the 31st.st 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, and in addition to being of American nationality and white ethnicity, he is also of Irish descent. Professional acting career
In 1990, Tom appeared in the Oscar-nominated thriller “The Field,” after which he starred in the Golden Globe-nominated drama “At Play in the Fields of the Lord.” He came into limelight in 1993 when he was cast in the lead role of Thomas Beckett in the first film in the ‘Sniper’ film series, while later that year he starred in the historical war drama “Gettysburg.”
The following year, he reprized his role as Jake Taylor in the sports film “Major League II”, which would be followed by the lead role in the western “Last of the Dogmen” in 1995. In the late 1990s, Tom also starred in critically acclaimed films such as “The Substitute” (1996), “A Murder of Crows” (1998) and “One Man’s Hero” (1999).
