It is confirmed that the series will bring the The ant Man actor Paul Rudd for the upcoming season.

After a successful run of the first season, the show’s second season focused on the trio of Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), and Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) investigating the case to uncover Bunny’s killer. But even after the reveal, this season’s finale presented another surprise when fans were shocked to spot Paul Rudd at the end.

At the end we are shown a year-long time jump and what follows is Oliver, who hadn’t had much luck on Broadway, finally gets his hands on a big production starring the famous actor Ben Glenroy played by Paul Rudd. But Oliver’s plan didn’t go as planned and Ben collapsed on stage. This is where the show ends with an all-new case perfectly set up for the upcoming season.

Creators Confirm Paul Rudd’s Future Appearance

Although some fans were excited to see Rudd on the show, some were worried about his appearance next season. Addressing this question, the show’s co-creator John Hoffman confirmed that the Marvel celebrity will surely appear in the upcoming season as he is the source of many mysteries to come:
“Paul Rudd, having made an auspicious entrance into our show’s world at the end of Season 2 as Ben Glenroy, is someone we clearly want to learn more about and see in our upcoming Season 3 – because he is a clear source of many questions to come and, as always with our show, many twists to come!
This update came as a sign of relief for Paul Rudd fans as they can now prepare for more in the upcoming season. This will also mark his second appearance with Selena Gomez who he last starred with in the 2016 film Fundamentals of support.
