Then, in response to the dance, Adam’s girlfriend posted a video on TikTok in which she can be seen acting upset and commenting, “Watching your boyfriend almost kiss another woman on live TV.”

Eirianedd later admitted his reaction to his sports beau’s ‘almost kiss’ with Katya was ‘very emotional’.

Last fall, when Adam and Katya were about to wrap up their hot Argentinian tango, 23-year-old Eirianedd informed viewers that she had taken a “brief break” from social media.

The athlete’s girlfriend also thanked her TikTok followers for their encouragement and admitted she was “very upset” as she had experienced online harassment following Adam’s performance on TV.

Early life

Adam Peaty, the youngest of Mark and Caroline Peaty’s four children, was born on December 28, 1994 in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. He is the couple’s only son. He had his primary education at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Uttoxeter and then continued his secondary education at Painsley Catholic College in Cheadle and Derby College. After hearing from his siblings that sharks could enter the bathroom through the drain, the young child had a severe phobia of water and refused to be immersed in it. He also refused to be put in the tub. Peaty and his best friend took their very first swimming lesson the same year, when they were both four years old. It was during this swimming lesson that he overcame his phobia of water.

Peaty first joined Dove Valley Swimming Club in Uttoxeter when he was nine years old. By the age of twelve, he had already won races and set records for the club. Peaty was introduced to the City of Derby Swimming Club by a friend when he was 14. However, the club’s coach, a former Olympic swimmer named Melanie Marshall, was unimpressed with Peaty’s performance in the freestyle and placed him in the slow lane with younger girls. However, when she saw him swim the breaststroke for the first time, she couldn’t help but notice “something extraordinary”. She was also aware of the benefits of having huge hands and feet, an “incredible cardiovascular system” and hyper-mobile knees and ankles with double joints. Peaty says he didn’t start swimming competitively until he was 17. At the time, he was preparing for an evening with friends when he read that Craig Benson, a competitor he knew well from the junior circuit, had qualified for the semi-finals of the 100 meters breaststroke at the Olympic Games in London in 2012. Peaty was inspired to start swimming competitively. This caused him to re-evaluate his goals and motivated him to dedicate his whole life to swimming and to train non-stop to become a better swimmer.

Private life

Peaty first met his future partner Eirianedd Munro, a student at Loughborough University, back when the two were both training at the university. In April 2020, he revealed to the couple that they would be welcoming a son into the world. On September 11, 2020, their son came into the world. Peaty is passionate about the sport of football and Nottingham Forest cheers. On August 23, 2022, he announced his breakup.

Peaty launched his own YouTube channel on April 1, 2016, where he has since uploaded a number of videos. The first of these, titled “Common Queries About Me”, was uploaded on April 14, 2017 and provided answers to a few of these questions.

Peaty participated as a contestant in the nineteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, which aired from September 2021 to November 2021. Along with Katya Jones, a professional dancer, he reached week 7 of the contest and finished in ninth place in the General classification. Peaty won £40,000 in direct compensation for his time, effort and finishing ninth in the competition.
