After WB published the Justice League: The Snyder Cutfans were more satisfied than Justice League and called the film a fitting sequel to batman versus superman. Since the release of the Snyder Cut, fans have been asking to restore the Snyderverse and more of Henry Cavill’s Superman.
After Justice League was released in 2017, fans started the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut trend, and responding to fan demand, WB released the movie in 2021, which was way better than the 2017 Justice League.
In the hope that the studio can once again heed their request, fans started trending #RestoreTheSnyderverse.

DC Films directed by Zack Snyder
Zack Snyder directed the first DCEU movie, 2013 Steel man2016 follow-up Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justicewhich starred Henry Cavill as Superman and featured Ben Affleck as Batman. batman versus superman also had cameos from Gal Gadot wonder womanby Ezra Miller Glowby Jason Momoa Aquamanand Ray Fisher’s Cyborg.
Zack Snyder then directed the Justice Leaguebut he had to leave the film during its post-production due to the death of a family member.
Joss Whedon, director of The Avengers, resumed production thereafter. This led to the director’s change in vision and a film that left fans unsatisfied.
The studio then released a Snyder Cut, and fans were finally happy to see what the movie was supposed to be. All of this made one thing clear that fans loved the way Zack Snyder portrayed the characters and the story. Fans started calling it the Snyderverse and demanded more.
Will Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill continue in DCEU
It has been reported that Ben Affleck will appear in Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom as Batman. Although Cavill entered the DCEU with his solo film, Ben Affleck has no solo Batman movie again. However, since the actor is still playing the character, many are asking for a solo as well. Batman movie starring Ben Affleck.

With the possibility of the actor continuing in the role, there are possibilities that there will be a solo Batman filming soon. Fans are also excited for her appearance in the upcoming film. Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom.

Henry Cavill is also set to appear alongside Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming film, The Black Adamwhich gives a boost to future films with Cavill as Superman.

It has been reported that Cavill shot some scenes in the UK for The Black Adamwhich will most likely be the post-credits scenes of the film.
With characters introduced in Zack Snyder’s DC movies, it’s possible the Snyderverse will continue in the DCEU.

David Zaslav plans to restore the Snyderverse
Not just fans but Warner Brother Discovery CEO David Zaslav has also expressed his desire to restore the Snyderverse. Zaslav has made many changes to the WB since the merger of WB and Discovery.
So it’s possible that future DC films will follow the events of the Justice League: The Snyder Cut instead of 2017 Justice League. It gets even more peculiar with a scene from Snyder’s cut of Justice League included in the trailer for Shazam! The fury of the gods.
This is just a big guess, for now we’ll just have to wait and watch where the DCEU goes, and will there be more Ben Affleck Batman and that of Henry Cavill Superman?
