With Project World War Hulk speculation at its peak in the MCU right now, Mark Ruffalo’s statement acts as a catalyst almost confirming the unleashed beast’s return. From the Disney+ show She-Hulk: Lawyer started airing weekly, there are strong reports that this show could serve as a set-up for World War Hulk. It’s one of the great comic book series that features the Hulk in a never-before-seen avatar.
It’s also a very interesting fact that Disney will soon be buying back all the Hulk rights from Universal, which will now allow them to work on a solo Hulk project. This further fuels the Hulk World War rumour, as it may turn out to be one of the biggest MCU events.

The ongoing series starring Tatiana Maslany is reportedly already set for the events of World War Hulk. But now, with many other developments, those rumors seem more accurate.
In the first episode, we saw a spaceship responsible for leading Bruce Banner and his cousin Jennifer Walters to a car accident. This even leads to Walters receiving gamma-radiated blood from the Hulk, thus transforming into a she-hulk. But the most important thing was revealed when we learned that the spacecraft came from Sakaar, the planet on which we were shown Thor: Ragnarok.
At the end of the second episode, it is revealed that Bruce Banner returns to Sakaar on this ship. It sparked an immediate spark of excitement as fans are now more than sure they’ll be showing off one of Hulk’s most iconic story arcs.

Mark Ruffalo is known for being very and dangerously vocal about his projects, especially those in the MCU. So he couldn’t be expected to remain silent while the whole world goes crazy for the possibilities to come. Also earlier, he revealed that he is ready and excited to work on a solo project if the studio does. In a recent interview, he shed some light on the future Hulk project by saying that in the future he can turn into anything. It may even be a more ferocious giant taking control of the smart hulk:
“The cool thing about this world is that it could be anything. In five years it could totally turn into anything, whatever is relevant at the time. I see it almost going back to ‘Berserker Hulk’ or ‘World War Hulk’ It could go anywhere That’s the exciting part – I’ve played five different versions from start to now, and it’s kept the interest for me and hopefully interesting for others.
While he only laid out a few theories to fire fans up, those statements carry a lot more weight because Mark Ruffalo was quick to mention two of Hulk’s most iconic comic book tricks. We’ve also seen this Smart Hulk for a very long time and now fans also want to spot this deadly rampaging beast in action that we saw in the avengers movie or even better.
