With over 25 million views and an IMDB rating of 8.9/10, with only two episodes released, Dragon House has been on top with all these accomplishments. The prequel to the popular show, game of thrones, broke several records in the previous series. Not only having a high rank itself, Dragon House even managed to increase by 30% game of thrones rankings.
In the midst of it all, series creator Miguel Sapochnik decided to leave the show and hand it over to co-creator Ryan Condal. Alan Taylor will also join the team and said he was looking forward to working with Ryan Condal as Dragon House expands into its second season.

Miguel Sapochnik leaves the House of the Dragon
Ryan Condal will now serve as the series’ director and will work with co-creator, George RR Martini. The production also hired a veteran games of thrones producer, Alan Taylor, to direct several episodes of season 2 of Dragon House. HBO has already announced a second season for House of the Dragon.
About leaving the series, Sapochnik said that it was an honor and a privilege to work on the game of thrones universe for five years. He also said he was honored to have worked with the incredible cast and crew of Dragon House for the last two years.
Miguel Sapochnik said, “I’m so proud of what we achieved with the first season and thrilled with the enthusiastic response from our viewers. It was incredibly difficult deciding to move on, but I know it’s the right choice for me. , personally and professionally.

Miguel Sapochnik is heartened that Alan Taylor is joining the show
The show’s director also said he was deeply comforted knowing that Alan Taylor would be joining the show, as he has known and respected him for a long time, and believes the show couldn’t be in better hands.
He also said he was happy to continue being part of HBO and Dragon House family. Miguel Sapochnik also wished Ryan Condal and his team the best for the current Season 1 and Season 2 as well as the following seasons.
Alan Taylor, who will direct several episodes of Dragon House Season 2, also said he was honored to be back at HBO and once again immersing himself in the world of the Targaryens.

The series has already marked its place and intends to keep it. Alan Taylor made a total of seven game of thrones episodes and seems eager to make an impact on dragon house season 2 as well. He is currently working on the prequel to Soprano, The Many Saints of Newark.
HBO also released a statement saying, “While we would have liked Miguel to continue in the same role, we are excited to have his continued collaboration in this new creative capacity.
The series has two more episodes, which are directed by Sapochnik, which are Episode 6 and Episode 7.
Miguel Sapochnik will continue as executive producer
Before working with games of thrones, Sapochnik directed the 2010 film Repo Men and episodes of Fringe and fox house. He began his career as a screenwriter in 1996 Trainspotting.
Sapochnik, who has been working on the series for three years, has struck a first deal with HBO. He will work on developing new projects with HBO and will continue as an executive producer for House of the Dragon.
Dragon House premieres one episode a week on Sundays. Dragon House Episode 3 will be available September 4 on HBO and HBO Max.
