Disney Plus Reveals Attempt To Fix Ridiculed Thor: Love And Thunder VFX

Thor: Love and Thunder made its streaming debut for Disney Plus Day, bringing with it an attempt to fix one of Marvel film’s most derided VFX moments.

The fourth entry in Marvel Studios Thor The series received mixed reactions from fans, with Taika Waititi’s comedic take on Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder debate. However, one of the other aspects of the film that irritated some fans was a particular visual effect.

The visual effect in the film’s original cut was criticized by fans online, who claimed it looked surprisingly cheap for a film by love and thunderthe budget of. Now, the reworked version has faced similar criticism.

It comes after Taika Waititi was previously slammed for criticizing love and thunder‘s VFX in a shot of the CGI character Korg. Following previous reports of the stressful and unforgiving working conditions imposed on VFX artists working on Marvel productions, it’s surprising to see fans now partake in this same criticism.
