Captain America: New World Order is set to bring back one of comics’ most memorable characters. It is announced at Expo D23 that the film will mark the appearance of the Leader after The Incredible Hulk. The next film will be directed by The Cloverfield Paradox director Julius Onah and will feature Sam Wilson’s Captain America in action. The news of the leader’s return to this project came as a shock to fans.
The antagonist is mainly related to the character of Hulk. With Tim Blake Nelson reprising his role as The Incredible Hulkfans are excited to see him in action.

Surprising choice as a villain for Captain America: New World Order
There’s no denying that some fans were extremely thrilled with the return of Samuel Sterns. But it’s also an undeniable fact that the cast seems a bit unique for a Captain America movie.
The last time Blake Nelson’s character was seen on the big screens, he was lying down as Bruce Banner’s blood entered his wound, affecting him badly. It was the very first teaser for the character in the MCU.

Captain America: New World Order will most likely start its story from this point. And as reports suggest, we’ll be getting a comic book-accurate leader in his own right in the movie.
Potential connection to the She-Hulk series
She-Hulk is one of the most successful series in recent times. Although it faces criticism with CGI, complaints about the script are also there. But similarly, Tim Roth’s return as Abomination also got fans excited. Similarly, they might also give us some insight into the Leader, as he’s more connected to the Hulk and his company.
This particular point also explains why the She-Hulk series still lacks a true antagonist to lead the show. During the last episode, we met a group of people namely The Wrecking Crew who came to draw the blood of Jennifer Walters. Presumably Samuel Sterns, aka the frontman, is behind it all.

Details about Captain America: New World Order
The film will feature Sam Wilson’s Falcon played by Anthony Mackie who took over the mantle from Captain America in the latest The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It will also bring back the characters of Isaiah Bradley and Danny Ramirez as the New Falcon from the previous series. The film is more accurately described by the director as a “paranoid thriller”.
