Disney’s New Musical To wish tells how the magic wishing star was born. On its 100th anniversary, Disney is turning the page on the origin, and the ubiquitous thematic depiction of the “wish upon a star and it shall come true” of this world is now the subject of its new project. The film is the culmination of the journey of Walt Disney productions that have enriched the lives of billions of people throughout the century. Now, in their most revered and commemorative film to date, the House of Dreams Come True celebrates the all-granting star.

by Disney To wish Already wins its first critical review
A first look at the To wish The protagonist who was released by the production left the crowd unhappy with the repetitive animation style that has become prevalent among Disney projects. Twitter’s critical crowd doubles it “Pocahontas in a dress that looks like Mirabel from Encanto”. But despite the obvious similarities, the trailblazing film sets a precedent by invoking the literal wishing star, a theme that has never been explored at Disney before.

She is literally Pocahontas in a dress that looks like Mirabel from Encanto.
I’m sure it’s going to be a great movie, but you have to find original characters. Encanto had quirky characters but, she literally looks like Pocahontas… Even the same hair pic.twitter.com/qR6cQDgoj1

Isabella from Encanto is the prototype, Asha is the Alpha. Just like Katrina van Tessel is in Cinderella in 1949-1950.

I have high hopes for #To wish, considering it’s for Disney’s 100th anniversary. That said, I hope they give Asha a different color dress. The color palette of her hair, dress, and skin makes her feel too much like Isabela Madrigal to me. #disney #encanto. #d23 pic.twitter.com/roDSFRr5zH

Osmosis Jones is trending because of the similarity between Wade from Pixar’s upcoming film “Elementals” and Ozzie.
But do we also have to consider how much Disney’s “Wish” protagonist Asha looks quite like Isabela Madrigal from “Encanto?” pic.twitter.com/p7EzRMGXge

Throughout its years in the industry, the mass media entertainment house has never failed to disappoint its target audience with its rich content and carefree protagonists. The themes of Disney productions that stealthily explore human contradictions and morals are never imposed or imposed and the endings always leave you wiser, optimistic and a believer in miracles and the power of wishes. Hope Disney To wishdespite its initial criticism, should leave its audience feeling the same.
To wish is set to premiere on an unspecified date in November 2023.
