Adam Sandler shares his dad’s advice
In his recent interview with AARP, Adam Sandler talked about the critics continually beating his films. The actor said it stings sometimes. He added that he didn’t feel well while making movies with all these amazing people. And he wishes they didn’t have to read everything people say about it.

Adam Sandler also asked about the critics’ reactions to his films at the premiere of Uncut Gems. To which he replied that he does not read reviews of his films. He said, “Well, then I should read everyone who says how bad I am. So I skip reading them all.
In his interview, Adam Sandler also shared that some sage advice from his dad always helps him overcome these things. He said he wasn’t too shaken by all the critics had to say.

He remembers an incident where something was not going well for him. When he got angry, his father said to him: “Adam, you can’t always be happy. People aren’t always going to like you. You will fail.
He further shared his father’s advice saying, “You won’t really know you’re happy if you don’t feel these other things.

Netflix Announces Sequel For Adam Sandler’s Murder Mystery In 2019
While Adam Sandler may not have a great history with critics, he does have a huge fan following. The actor has a passionate fanbase and is happy that his fans like his works. His recent collaboration with Netflix also received impressive results from the public.

Adam Sandler’s 2019 Netflix movie, Murder Mystery, was seen by 73 million households in its first four weeks on the streaming platform. Murder Mystery, just like most of Sandler’s films, received a low rating of 44% on Rotten Tomatoes. Yet, given the audience it received, Netflix renewed the film for a sequel.

In his interview, Adam Sandler said he wants people to appreciate what he does. He also urged his detractors to at least like him because he always did his best. Thanking everyone who provided him with opportunities, he said, “I’m just amazed that people have trusted me for as long as they have in this business and given me blow after blow.”
Adam Sandler will star in the sequel to Murder Mystery alongside Jennifer Aniston. Murder Mystery 2 is currently in post-production. Other than Murder Mystery 2, Adam Sandler also finds the directors of Uncut Gems Josh and Benny Safdie for a new movie.
Murder Mystery 2 does not yet have an official release date. However, the film is expected to be released in 2023.
