‘Andrew, what’s up bro?’: Fans lose their minds after She-Hulk star calls out Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man cameo in upcoming episodes

She-Hulk: Lawyer continues to be one of the most controversial Marvel productions despite its six episodes. Created by Jessica Gao, the series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk.

Despite the low ratings, fans kept watching She-Hulk, primarily for crossovers, including Hulk/Bruce Banner, Abominatio/Emil Blonsky, and the much-anticipated inclusion of Daredevil. According to an interview with some She-Hulk cast, we might expect other MCU characters to join.

Spider-Man in She-Hulk?

In an interview with E! On line, She-Hulk: Lawyer actors Josh Segarra and Renée Elise Goldsberry who play Pug and Mallory Book respectively, have expressed interest in seeing more characters in the series. Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man was also mentioned; Josh Segarra said:

“Pug in the comics is saved by Spider-Man, and that’s why he dedicates his life to protecting superheroes. So I just wonder what Tom is doing. If he’s busy, it’s not one day. One day we’re shooting the scene. I just wonder what they are- Andrew, what’s up bro?”

They also expressed interest in seeing Tobey Maguire return as Spider-Man. The two actors had last returned to their roles as web crawlers in Spider-Man: No Coming Home. Given that their character’s endings were left open, their cameo could be very interesting.

Will we see Spider-Man join a Disney+ series?

Spider-Man continues to be stuck in a standoff between Marvel and Sony as the rights to the character are all over the place, already making it difficult for the character to make crossover appearances.

She-Hulk: Lawyer was criticized by fans for many of his choices.

We last saw the character in Spider-Man: No Coming Home, played by Tom Holland with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire playing different versions of him from parallel universes. The film was a box office hit and was well received by fans, indicating the web crawler’s enduring popularity.

Including Spider-Man will definitely help She-Hulk increase in numbers, both in terms of viewership and viewership. Although the crossover seems difficult as Peter Parker keeps his identity a secret and Jennifer Walters is quite open about her alter ego.

She-Hulk: Lawyer is now streaming on Disney+.
