Matt Smith confirms House of the Dragon won’t have major time jump after fans upset over replacing Milly Alcock and Emily Carey

-

A TV series can show many phases of a character’s life, but it also requires a change in cast when showcasing a character’s progress from childhood to adulthood. This process is what was disappointing Dragon House fans since learning that two fan favorites would be leaving the show.

Emily Carey and Milly Alcock, who play young Alicent Hightower and Rhaenyra Targaryen respectively, will leave the show after their five-episode run in the fantasy drama TV series. This would naturally raise further concerns for the future of the show’s other fan-favorite actors, but Matt Smith assures us that all will be well.
