One of Marvel Studios’ all-time breakthrough films, Black Panther changed the game forever when it was released in 2018 as the first superhero movie to have an almost all-black cast.
It was no surprise when Black Panther won multiple Academy Awards: Best Original Score, Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design. After all, the movie was a blockbuster hit and a major commercial success. Publisher Predicts Black Panther Sequel Will Receive Multiple Awards
Fans are starting to wonder if the second installment will live up to the hype of the original film and also become a major hit given Boseman’s absence. Now, a report presented by Clayton Davis, awards editor of Varietypredicts the main distinctions by category that wakanda forever will receive at the Oscars, more precisely at the Oscars.
While this prediction can be said to be based solely on the success of the previous film, no one can really say who will win and whether the sequel will receive the same accolades. When Boseman passed away, many people thought there would be no more Black Panther suites.

Some Fans Still Believe Wakanda Forever Is An Insult To Chadwick Boseman’s Legacy
In a Reddit post, a fan said that “Wakanda Forever Doesn’t Honor Chadwick Boseman’s Legacy, It Insults Him.” The Redditor pointed out that Kevin Feige surely went ahead with the plan without recasting T-Challa to honor Boseman. The poster also said that even death cannot”prevent the Disney company [from] make more money” and they will milk the sequel to the film down to the last penny. To end the argument, the Redditor said: “Call me cynical if you will, but making Black Panther 2 without the lead actor is insulting.”

To some degree, it’s a hurtful statement for avid Chadwick Boseman fans to predict so many awards now that the actor is gone. He was the face and embodiment of the franchise, and even though it was a collaborative effort from the entire cast, Boseman was really the one who pushed for it to happen. Yet many are boycotting wakanda forever because they think it’s an insult to Boseman’s legacy.
