Black Adam’s impending release date has fans unleashing their possibilities of fan theories and one of them might just be a rumor. Rumors have swirled about a potential Black Adam vs. Justice League vs. Suicide Squad project underway with Dwayne Johnson himself working behind the scenes for the same.
Rumors first sprung up when the two images of the Justice League and the appearance of Amanda Waller and Superman was revealed. Fans aren’t the only ones who have wanted to theorize about the same thing the directors and actors want it to happen too.
The cameo theory
Black Adam is filled with cameos from characters such as Henry Cavill’s Superman, Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller and more. The connection between these characters may lead to a potential crossover between the three. As well as Superman’s headless cameo in Shazam! Not to mention that Black Adam is a notable antagonist of Captain Marvel.
Black Adam can very easily find a connection to many of these heroes and villains, which could pave the way for this project. This, however, has many fans wondering about Captain Marvel’s absence as rumors go by.

Dwayne Johnson works behind the scenes
Reports said that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson worked behind the scenes to bring this project to life. He is said to have pitched the idea to Warner Bros. Discovery for a while now. Old footage as well as the appearance of Amanda Waller give some solid direction for the Suicide Squad’s involvement, but the rest are still potential theories.
The director of Shazam himself returned to these rumors.
“I have no idea if that’s true or not. But it would be pretty funny if Black Adam fought every DC character except Shazam.
Pretending that he may not have much idea about the same thing but he still has hope for it.

Fans also want Shazam with Black Adam
Fans on social media have pointed out how clearly Black Adam connects with Shazam and wants to see the two crossed heads with each other. The two have been enemies with each other throughout the comics and fans want to see their interaction.
The DCEU’s troublesome ratings have been no secret and for them to potentially do such a big project after their entire ratings hierarchy relies on black adam after the two cases with Amber Heard and Erza Miller could be their saving grace.
Nothing can really be confirmed until the release of black adam on October 21, 2022.
