Lynda Carter, best known for her role as Wonder Woman in the television series wonder woman (1975-1979) tweeted a wholesome message on the social media platform. Apparently responding to a fan, the real Wonder Woman responded with a heartfelt message and showed her support for the LGBTQ+ community in this world of sexism and homophobia.

The wholesome response has its origins in a fan tweet that Lynda Carter replied to. The fan’s girlfriend tweeted along the lines of “I knew you wouldn’t let me down. my little lesbian heart thanks you kindly, queen.
Depending on your areas of interest: “Lady is a fish, best friend is a talking crab…and people are mad that she’s black?”
The tweet ended with a heart and sparkle emoji, after which Lynda Carter gave her signature tweet.

The former Wonder Woman’s only conversation destroyed tweets from homophobic people as the iconic ’70s actress became a real Wonder Woman.

During the manufacture of wonder woman (2017), director Patty Jenkins approached Lynda Carter to make her a guest appearance in the film. The duo, however, could not make it out due to timing issues with Lynda Carter’s concerts. The American actress has indeed made an appearance in Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) as Asteria. This has led to speculation that the actress will return to don the Wonder Woman costume once again.
At the latest news, it is indeed confirmed for wonder woman 3 with Gal Gadot and Chris Pine reprising their roles. The film will be directed by Patty Jenkins but there is no release date yet.
