Henry Cavill has always been a fan favorite among all the actors who have played Superman. And it’s no surprise that he himself loved this role which he played so perfectly. In fact, he was so attached to this role that he wanted to play it again. Time and time again he mentioned the same thing, but unfortunately he was denied his wish to do so.
In some interviews some time ago he talked about Steel man in which he played the role of Superman, and how he also wanted a sequel to the film.

In his interviews, Cavill briefly spoke about “Superman’s Future” and how he came up with various ideas to portray the character by taking his essence from the comics and turning it into something amazing.
“Man of Steel, I really like this movie”Cavill said before continuing to talk about the possibility of his sequel, “and I wish I could tell the story where it was left, at that time.”

When asked if fans will receive a man of steel 2the British actor simply said he couldn’t say anything. “I can’t tell you anything, but it would be really great”he said, hinting that if the movie happened, that would be great.
Henry Cavill has made it clear that he would like to have a direct sequel to Steel man through which he could represent “a cheerful, hopeful, powerful figure who is Superman.” He was determined to explore a much more optimistic part of Superman’s nature and was eager to work on the opportunity if and when it knocked on his door.

On the contrary, Henry Cavill was extremely motivated by the possibility of doing a Superman sequel and had tons of ideas for the same.
He already had an image in his head of how he wanted to reflect the character of Superman in the second film. He planned to focus more on the character “bad *ss” side, the one where he has the potential to “unleash its raw power.” And that, of course, wouldn’t be in a negative light as it would focus on the protective yet powerful side of Superman.

Cavill observed how Superman “exploring the positivity of who he is”this is where he would like to resume with regard to Man of steel 2.
He even hadbehind-the-scenes conversations » with some people. But, sadly, his wishes were cut short before he could make them come true when Warner Bros. the hunt.
While there have been countless different rumors as to why Henry Cavill was cast out, the lack of overt public animosity between him and WB makes it difficult for fans to understand exactly what the DCEU is up to.

Recently, news circulated about DC asking Cavill to make a return as Superman in the film’s reboot, but the star reportedly didn’t say yes.
On the less sullen side, Henry Cavill himself hasn’t officially given his word for not wanting to return to the film’s reboot. So maybe there’s still some hope left for DC fans after all.
