Rob Liefeld recently spoke about Dead Pool 3 on the Phase Zero podcast. He talked about one of the things he’s always wanted to see in the MCU for so long. He did not even hesitate to compare Dead Pool 3 with Avengers: Endgame. Rob Liefeld is known for co-creating the characters of Cable and dead Pool.

Rob Liefeld was as shocked as anyone to see Wolverine return in Deadpool 3
The Creator of Dead Pool 3 shared the one thing he always wanted to see in the next movie. He said that, like everyone else, he was also waiting to see Wolverine and dead Pool on screen together. He even claimed that during a meeting with Disney, he told them that they had to bring Wolverine back to Dead Pool 3.
He said if they bring Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine in Dead Pool 3it could be as big as End of Game. He said,
“And [in the meeting] I said, ‘look, what everybody wants is Hugh – Wolverine, Ryan – Deadpool, that’s it.’ I said, ‘It can be as big as Endgame.’ I just went there because why not, why not just go big, right? »
A day after the meeting, one of his insider friends told him that Hugh Jackman had officially signed up to play Wolverine again. He shared that even after having the idea that the studio would bring him back, he was shocked when he heard the news.

How Hugh Jackman agreed to reprise his role in Deadpool 3?
Hugh Jackman previously said that 2017 Logan would be the last time he played Wolverine. So when Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman revealed his return, fans were curious how the studio convinced the actor to reprise his role.
Hugh Jackman said in one of his interviews that he made his decisions and he also made this one for himself. “Come on! I make my own decisions,” Jackman said.
Fans believe that Jackman was the one who approached the studio for his role in the film. While many believe it was Ryan Reynolds who gave the studio the idea to cast Hugh Jackman in Dead Pool 3.

Liefeld shares his excitement for Deadpool 3
While there may not be much for Liefeld to contribute to the film, the creator is still excited about Dead Pool 3. Earlier Wolverine and dead Pool were seen together in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. However, the creator shared that their relationship in the comic is much more than that.
Wolverine and dead Pool have a very strong relationship in the comics. Their adventures represent their strong relationship as they fight with each other and sometimes against each other. Liefeld expects the filmmakers to portray the relationship as authentically on the big screen as they do in the comics.
Well, there’s no doubt that the two characters will have great on-screen chemistry. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are friends in real life, and both have already given a hint of what fans can expect from the film, in their recent videos.
As for Dead Pool 3, fans still have to wait two years for the movie. But they’re sure it would be the best MCU movie. The film is also highly anticipated as Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman make their MCU debuts with Dead Pool 3. Liefeld is convinced that having Jackman on board is the best decision Disney has made, and it will surely pay off with the best results.
Dead Pool 3 is set to release on September 6, 2024.
