The race for the next 007 continues at a steady and steady pace, with fans praying that their favorite suitors win the role.
There has been endless speculation and a mountain of rumors about who will be the next James Bond after the popular and esteemed Daniel Craig. From Tom Holland and Henry Cavill to Idris Elba and Tom Hardy, fans have left no page unturned when it comes to guesswork.
And while there’s been no official confirmation regarding the next James Bond, a reported update may have solidified the odds of some actors getting the job.
Fans want Henry Cavill to be the next James Bond
After 15 years with the franchise, Daniel Craig has announced his retirement from the role of the fearsome James Bond, with no time to die (2021) being his final Bond film. And although no actor can replace him, there is stiff competition between talented actors who are likely to succeed him.
Until now, Tom Hardy had been one of the top contenders in the race to become the new 007. But he seems to have been passed by two other top-notch English actors.

Steel man star, Henry Cavill certainly seems to be winning a lot of hearts these days as fans continue to support him to enter the next 007 title.
In 2005, Cavill even auditioned for Casino Royale. But the witcher star had apparently been considered “too chubby” for the role, which is why he couldn’t get it. And now he’s one of the top contenders to become the next Bond. Oh, how the tables have turned.
However, he’s not the only fan favorite.

James Norton vies with Henry Cavill for the role of 007
Giving a tough fight to Henry Cavill, we have the Mc Mafia star, James Norton in second place to become the next James Bond.
Like Cavill, Norton is one of the most suitable candidates, and has also garnered a lot of love and support from fans, which has made him stand out even more. He got a head start in the game after becoming the second favorite in the race.

On the other hand, some other celebrities like Tom Holland, Luke Evans, Idris Elba, etc., no longer seem like possible replacements for Craig’s Bond. Tom Holland particularly lost his credibility after Michael G. Wilson announced that they were unlikely to cast a younger actor for the role, given that Agent 007 already had a lot of experience.
The Peaky Blinders actor, Tom Hardy’s chances also appear to be diminishing as Cavill and Norton are widely supported by fans.
No official word on the next James Bond has yet been released.
