Rumor Has It Born Again Features Bullseye

Daredevil: Born Again start filming soon and in the same city where its Netflix namesake was filmed. The show is expected to be 18 episodes long so fans can watch Daredevil on their Disney+ screens for over 4 months if Marvel continues to follow the weekly release pattern it has established for its shows. Other than that, there isn’t much official show information. But there are multiple rumors circulating about potential characters joining the series. And one of them is supposed to be Bullseye.

At 18 episodes, it’s almost guaranteed that Daredevil: Born Again will feature multiple villains for its titular hero to fight. And according to Twitter scooper TheWatcher, one of the antagonists could be Bullseye. Check out the tweet below:

Netflix’s Daredevil viewers know that Wilson Bethel portrayed Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye on the show. He was an FBI agent with damaged sanity. Later, he was manipulated by Kingpin into donning Daredevil’s replica in order to tarnish the true hero’s reputation and eliminate threats to Kingpin’s rule.

During the show, he fights the real Daredevil twice. But it’s ultimately Kingpin who breaks his back. The last we see of him is at a facility undergoing experimental surgery to repair his spine.

Will Netflix’s Bullseye appear on the MCU Show?

The answer to this question is- we don’t know yet. The Bullseye speculation is just a rumor for now. Marvel could choose to recast Bullseye and give him a new backstory or they could continue Netflix’s Poindexter story.

We know that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio return, but other than them, everyone else’s appearance is kept under wraps. But fan theories are already springing up about the possibility of the show setting up its own version of Sinister Six for Daredevil to fight. And Bullseye is supposed to be one of them.

Fan speculation also suggests the show could lead to Spiderman 4 where Peter Parker and Matt Murdock might have to defeat Kingpin together. We could also see a court case involving Matt using Peter’s photos and journalism to try to put Kingpin behind bars.

But fans hoping for a Spidey appearance in Daredevil: Born Again shouldn’t hold their breath. Rumors suggest Tom Holland’s new MCU deal doesn’t include appearances for Disney+ shows. However, these agreements and the way they are implemented are constantly changing. So an appearance on the Daredevil show might not be entirely out of order.

What do you think of Bullseye’s potential appearance in Daredevil: Born Again? Let us know.
