‘I don’t even want to know how it works’: Indiana Jones 5 Star Harrison Ford is freaked out by his younger self using de-aging technology

We have a fifth Indiana Jones film currently in production, and it will once again be an action-packed adventure. However, the legendary Harrison Ford will once again, and for the fifth and final time, reprise his role as Indy in the fifth film, marking the end of a 40-year streak in the franchise.

That’s pretty sad news for fans of the franchise, but it was obvious that Ford had to stop somewhere down the line as age caught up with him and his career. But that won’t be a problem for Ford’s on-screen version, as he’s expected to be the last aging actor in a movie.

However, fans of the franchise won’t see Steven Spielberg at the helm as director this time around, who instead opted to take the back seat as the film’s producer. Replacing it will girl interrupted director James Mangold.

Although Spielberg won’t be directing the fifth Indiana Jones film, fans will still get to see their favorite Harrison Ford as the main star who is set to reprise the titular character once more, albeit for the last time. But he won’t look as old as he does in real life.

This is the case with Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones, but the new weathering technology that was put to use today has been hailed as a solution to this problem.

Director James Mangold revealed the information by describing that the actor will be aged for the opening scene of the fifth film in which he fights the Nazis in a castle full of them.

Ford is also very intrigued by this weathering technology, but he also finds it frightening. During an interview with Empire, the 80-year-old Hollywood legend opened up about his character’s aged look-

“It’s the first time I’ve seen him where I think he is. It’s a little scary. I don’t even think I want to know how it works, but it does. It doesn’t make me want to be young, however, I’m glad I got my age.

Needless to say, he’ll be sure to treasure his final appearance as the character after a 4-decade run in the IndianaJones honesty unless he changes his mind!
