David Seaman’s daughter, Georgina Seaman, is relatively tall. She is 1.78 m (5 feet 10 inches) tall and her body weighs around 60 kilograms.
On the other hand, his dad David is 6 feet 4 inches (1.93m tall). Due to its gigantic size, it can easily cover most of the post and prevents balls from entering. It’s one of his natural gifts.
He made one of the greatest saves of all time against Sheffield United’s Paul Peschisolido in the 2002-03 FA Cup semi-final. A persistent shoulder problem forced him to retire in 2004. He was appointed goalkeeping coach for Wembley’s Combined Counties League side in June 2012.
When Seaman was an Arsenal player, the team was enjoying one of its most prosperous times. In the 38-game 1990–91 season, Seaman played in every game and allowed just 18 goals, helping Arsenal win the league championship again.
Arsene Wenger took over as manager of Arsenal in 1996, and Wenger regarded Seaman highly. In 1998, he helped the team to the Premier League and FA Cup double. When Seaman played for Arsenal in 1998-99, they came within a point of reclaiming the Premier League and lost to Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals. Seaman appeared in all 38 league games that season allowing just 17 goals.
