Titania and Jennifer
Titania is now freed and all charges against her have been dropped. The next thing she does after being freed is to sue Jennifer Walters for using the name She-Hulk, because she filed it first.
As there is now a legal division for super-humans, we see superheroes and people with special abilities taking advantage of it more. In She-Hulk episode 4, we saw Wong come forward to Jennifer to sue Donny Blaze for abusing the mystic arts. Later, Titania is seen sending legal notice to Jennifer Walters.
This series is really about legal proceedings and legal notices. I don’t think Marvel intends to show She-Hulk’s true power in this series. Even if they do, it will certainly seem rushed.
Why does Titania go after Jennifer?
Jennifer had him caught and failed in her plans to create chaos in the courtroom. On top of that, she got beaten up by She-Hulk, which sounds really frustrating. So she probably has someone smart to guide her into trademarking the name, She-Hulk, and suing Jennifer for using it.
Jennifer feels calm about it because she’s a lawyer and can probably handle it without too much hassle. The thing is, no fan is enjoying this scene. It seems unnecessary to have this very scene included in the show.
After receiving the legal notice, Jennifer turns to the camera and says, “What a disappointing way to end the episode! It feels like Marvel is doing this knowingly to test fans’ patience with the series. We come back every week for a new episode of She-Hulk because we trust Marvel.
There should be something beyond verbal warfare in the courts. We don’t want She-Hulk fighting the flying creatures of hell, but someone who is a good fit. So, let’s keep that hope alive and expect to see some action beyond the courtrooms in future episodes of She-Hulk.
