Yes! The Orville was given the third season, but it won’t be on Fox again. It will air on Hulu. They belong to Disney. There is hardly any change made at the top. Season 3 will have 11 episodes released every week by Hulu after they move from Fox’s channel. In spite of having a new network, they want 10 episodes per season instead of last year’s 12-15 min episode length.

David Goodman, the show’s executive producer, has said that some episodes will still be standalone. But we’ve shown that we can go deeper into the Union and aliens and our characters. So we will keep doing this. But it is important to us that you have a format for the show so people who haven’t seen it before won’t get confused. Our goal is always to not turn off new viewers by making them feel like they don’t know what’s going on. We are expanding the cast of characters and storylines because of what we’ve already done before.
There will be no dropped storylines. The things we want to talk about and the things we are concerned about will happen. Even if people complain online, they won’t be dropped. Season 3 will follow what happened in season two: episodes eight and nine (Isaac’s decisions). Season 3 will probably have more episodes with humorous episodes that explore our world and personality.

Release date The Orville season 3
Sadly, the release date of season 3 of The Orville is not yet official. But we think it will come out on October 21st. This is just a rumor though. Maybe it will be released when that date comes and goes, but we hope not too long after that. We have to wait for official information for now and until filming is complete before post-production can start and take time to finish. Post-production can take four to twelve weeks which means there could be some delay in the release of the show if it has a long production cycle as other shows have had in past seasons like The Crown or House Of Cards.
The movies have been shooting for a while. It is not yet done, but they are close to being finished. Season 3 of The Orville, which is made by and stars Seth MacFarlane, has been filming since December and it has not had any problems so far. They are close to being finished with the movie too.
