The doctors think that the procedure should be well designed and medications should be started on time. But the new survey focuses more on the time period, which involves the medication, therapy, and treatment of the cancer patients. Debbra Prat, who is known to be the breast specialist in the labs of Cleveland and the author of the survey, said that now the research focuses on the time period with respect to the chances of survival of the breast cancer patients, which is to be dealt with.
They added that in the survey, they diagnosed and analyzed the rates of recovery of around 28000 breast cancer patients who dealt with diagnosis, therapy, and medications. They found that if the three processes are done within the time limit of 38 weeks, the chances of the survival of the patient increases.
They found that they would live five years more if the conditions were well satisfied. If the treatment is delayed, then the chances of survival also decrease and may affect the survival of the breast cancer patient.
They found this as, in many cases, the treatments were delayed due to many reasons, and the rates of recovery went bad. The poor rate of recovery of the breast cancer patient indicated the necessity of the time period under which the treatment should be done for a better rate of survival.
They also added that the time period which has been set is fair enough for each stage of cancer. The treatment of breast cancer could be done within the time limit. The doctors suggest that if the diagnosis is made properly, then the time period for the treatment may be reduced.
The doctors should get a clear indication about the time period of treatment and the stage at which the patient is. Thus, the treatment of cancer patients would be easy if the route of the treatment is pre-planned and under a set time. The doctors need to follow the time limit in order to increase the chance of the survival of the breast cancer patient.
