Now with Omicron emerging as new variant scientists have asked people to stay safe. The US Federal Government has put a travel ban on African countries in order to safeguard the lives of people in the nation.
The White House Administration has said that unvaccinated people are at more risk than vaccinated people and our main focus is to reduce the impact of the virus on our country.
The medical experts in the United States have recommended the central government to fasten the booster shots vaccination amongst the eligible citizens. They have focussed on the level of protection to be offered by availing the booster shots.
As per the US Centers for Diseases and Control Prevention, till now approximately 60 percent of the US population has been fully vaccinated (both doses) and around 82 percent of the citizens have been vaccinated (at least a single dose).
Dr. Anthony Fauci said that vaccination and booster shots can be used as a prevention tool for unvaccinated people. Also, last week Dr. Fauci advocated for the third vaccine to improve the immune system.
He clearly said if you are eligible to receive a booster shot then surely you must go and grab the opportunity and for the unvaccinated, there is no reason to stay quiet and remain unvaccinated as the time has come to get fully vaccinated.
The Chief Medical Adviser of the USA clearly stated that booster shots are a game-changer in fighting against the covid 19 virus. According to the studies and data analyzed booster shots are a perfect alternative to increase the antibodies level and remain fully protected.
The African countries which are under travel restrictions are South Africa, Eswatini, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, and Lesotho. A total of 8 African countries are under a travel ban.
Many USA Medical agencies have said that they expect that this Covid 19 variant will be identified fastly if it enters the borders of the US.
It has been almost two years and scientists, medical researchers have studied a lot about the Covid 19 virus and greatly presented the vaccination to the world. Now after detecting Omicron, the world is now very much anxious.
