It is a clear fact that the United States is under a huge amount of pressure from various sources to curb the covid 19 cases in the country. As per the reports, the omicron variant infection cases are at an all-time high, and in some parts of the country, the hospitalization rate has doubled and tripled. Now, this is a serious matter of concern for the Government and medical agencies in the United States.
The Hospitals Are Facing A Shortage Of Medical Supplies And Staffs
Also, with the increasing cases and hospital admissions, the demand for beds and other medical facilities is increasing at a very fast pace and leaving the administration with no choice.

Many States are under emergency situations in the USA and their medical system has been greatly exposed even after the low-rated medical emergencies are on hold.
Now according to the latest updates, approximately one-fourth of 25 percent of the hospitals have revealed that there is a huge shortage of medical supplies and healthcare staff in the hospitals.
The outbreak of the new variant of covid 19 has majorly affected the frontline workers and they are facing isolation and can’t even return to work at the earliest. The infection has badly unmasked the truth of the US healthcare system.
With more than 700,000 daily cases in the country, it is completely true that hospital admissions will increase. Also, the good news is that the hospitalization rate is actually less than the previously hit wave of the delta version in the country.
The data has been collected by the US Department of Health and Human Service and they have also warned that the real test of the health care system in the United States has just begun and in the early stage, the hospitals have started to give up and it is not a great sign for the governments and medical authorities.
But some medical experts are also claiming that no matter who many cases are coming, the omicron variant is not severe if you’re fully vaccinated and have received the booster shot, and in such case surely you dont need to visit a hospital. On the other hand, the scenario is totally different as the omicron variant is majorly targeting people with low immune power.
We are not on the verge of losing out, stated some medical scholars and the Federal Government has been taking several steps to overcome such problems in less time.
In some states, the nonessential medical services are at a halt excluding some surgeries and treatment that demands instant medication. The hospitals are being provided with the emergency service of police and army staff to help the health care staff in the hospitals and clinics with the basics like carrying patients from the ambulance to the wards.
Many Other states like Kansas, New York, California, Florida are also facing a shortage of nurses and other staff and have been asking the US government to intervene and help.
