Since the initial case of the omicron variant in the State of California on 1st December, the entire United States is under the havoc situation because the seven days average case in the US are doubling every week and even the United States has already created a world record by detecting more than a million cases of covid 19 virus in the country in a single day.

Earlier this week, California crossed more than 5 million total cases in the State, and in States like Florida, Texas is behind to finally achieve the feat of achieving 5 million cases.
As per the reports, the omicron subtype being the most contagious strain of the original covid 19 virus, has been able to take over as the dominant version of coronavirus in less than 2 weeks since the first case was found in the US.

Some states are already in emergency situations and have put every other small medical emergency on hold.

In some states, it has been claimed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that the vaccination rate is below the average country rate of vaccination and the state governments have to take up essential measures and encourage more and more individuals to come out and take the vaccine at the earliest.
Also, the US CDC released the data and announced that the hospital admissions are at a surge and according to the Department of Health and Human Services, approximately more than 132,000 patients suffering from Covid 19 virus have been hospitalized in the United States till 7 January 2021.
The public healthcare department has been witnessing its worst time due to the highly contagious variant of covid 19 and the pace at which this strain is traveling will end up infecting more than 140 million Americans.
