10 New SUNY-Based COVID Testing Centers To Work From 11 January
According to the sources, the SUNY community has a very great history and has been working continuously to protect and secure the campuses since the initial days of the pandemic.

Kathy Hochul announced that it was the need of the hour to think out of the box and work in coordination with the Central government to save the lives of millions of New Yorkers. Already she announced in the press about the establishment and its beginning date. The SUNY-based Covid 19 testing locations will be very effective and will help in increasing the testing facility in the state.
According to the medical experts and authorities in the state, she has been very determined with her thinking and has been taking every small and big step so that the entire population stays protected and intact from the attack of the omicron variant of the Covid 19.
She also stated that we will use every defense to cross this winter wave of the omicron strain. We will make use of every tool and method available like vaccination, booster shots, and on top of it, the testing will play an important role in curbing the surging rate of infection and hospitalization in New York.
Already the State of New York was put under an emergency situation by the State administration.
The SUNY-based testing centers will boost the testing facilities in the state and will help our efforts to get stronger as the winter surge is demanding more and more testing. It will also be considered as a part of more than 2000 testing facilities centers available.
Our main mission is to make the testing locations easily accessible to the population so that there should be no panic conditions statewide. The State administration has already demanded around 7 million testing kits a few days back so that there should be no shortage of testing kits in New York.
Also, some states in the US have argued that there is a shortage of testing kits and the administration is not able to properly administer testing in the highly demanded regions.
The PCR testing is considered to be the best one as more people are shifting towards the home-based self-testing where the results come instantly but the authenticity is not trusted.
Although President Joe Biden has promised the country to supply 500 million testing kits in 2 months and the states will be allotted testing kits according to the demand and supply.
