The rich countries with powerful leaders are not offering enough medical help to the low-income nations and it is a major cause for the rising disparities. The low vaccination rate amongst these poor countries is a great reason behind the success of the covid 19 virus and the birth of new variants is only possible because of this.
Sharing the example of the Omicron variant which was first detected in South Africa was able to get this wide level of an outbreak because of the low vaccination percentage in the African countries.

Many researchers and medical experts have also shown a positive reaction to the end of an emergency-like situation in the world. The healthcare scholars in the United States strongly believe that the virus will never end, not this year but very soon. According to the CEO of Pfizer, the vaccine will help in reducing the cases but the pandemic will end by 2024 and only if people will get jabbed at the earliest.
WHO also stated that all we can do is collectively make efforts to overcome the situation and put an end to the public emergency by helping the poor nations in developing a good medical system and providing vaccines that will help them in increasing the rate of vaccines. A proper medical system is the need of the hour for these countries as it will help in curbing the cases which will further prevent the entry of new strains of covid 19 in the world.
