New Data Suggest Infection From The Omicron Enhances Antibodies Level

The outbreak of the Covid 19 and the introduction of several variants including Delta and Omicron has raised many concerns across the globe. The scientists and medical experts are exerting and conducting several studies to find out the effect of the same.

The World Health Organization has already collaborated with various countries and medical agencies for a better analysis of the omicron version of coronavirus

New Data Suggest Infection From The Omicron Enhances Antibodies Level

Various studies have been conducted by the WHO scientists and medical researchers around the world to read the omicron variant and its effect on the human body. The initial studies and even the recent studies have found the new subtype of covid 19 to be very mild and possess fewer symptoms.

But during the testing, especially home-based testing kits might not be able to detect the infection in the first place and multiple tests might be required.

According to the recent lab-based data available with the WHO on the omicron, variant suggests that this new variant of Covid 19 can prove to be a silver lining by providing protection against Delta by generating enough antibodies that will help in fighting with the future variants if any exists.

Also, the delta is a more severe and highly contagious variant of Covid and still remains more lethal than the omicron version but the transmission rate of this variant is high in the latter. Moreover, the variant is responsible for the sudden surge in the number of Covid cases across the US creating a panic situation for the hospital authorities and citizens in the United States.

The analytics and studies of the Covid Omicron variant suggest that the antibodies obtained after recovering from Omicron produce antibodies that can shield one against the Delta Covid variant and any other variant which might get birth in the future.

The World Health Organization has stated that there is a strong unequal distribution of the vaccination to the poor nations and the political leaders are not able to create a perfect medical system in these low-income countries and surely these countries will introduce a new variant just like the omicron was detected in South Africa and then traveled to the whole world in less than 10 days.

The scientists also state that since the Omicron variant of Covid is less severe than Delta the overall effect of this variant is on the positive side. Currently, some states in the US are witnessing a declining curve and controlled hospitalization rate.

As per the reports, The Chief Scientist of the World Health Organization asserts the fact that increased immunity against the Delta variant can be obtained due to the antibodies produced after recovering from Omicron infection.

Although, it must be noted that these antibodies will develop better and stronger in a fully vaccinated individual.  There is one catch, people are considering that the infection will lead to creating more antibodies and vaccination won’t be required, but this is just a myth and a vaccine is the only best method to protect.
