The vaccination has been a great source of antibodies that is required to save our lives from the deadly combination of both the variants of coronavirus, delta and the omicron.
There Is No Substitute For The Initial Doses Of Vaccines & Booster Shots
According to a recent study conducted, it was found that the infection caused by the omicron strain of the covid 19 has the capacity to produce stronger antibodies that will help people to fight against the delta variant. Also, the medical researchers stated that people must not mix antibodies created by omicron with the original vaccines.
It must be noted that there is no substitute for the initial doses of vaccines and booster shots. The United States citizens must go out and get themselves vaccinated at the earliest as vaccines can provide complete protection against the covid 19 virus.
The vaccines are already under the scrutiny of the medical experts after the studies found that the initial doses of the vaccines are not sufficient enough to fight omicron variants and the vaccines are losing their efficiency and effectiveness after a certain time period.
On the other hand, booster shots are offering more protection and have reduced the hospitalization rate by 90 percent in the country.
In the US, only 3 vaccine manufacturers are allowed, Pfizer, Modern, and Johnson & Johnson. But after many types of research found the J&J vaccine has high side effects the US CDC started recommending people to avail vaccines of either Pfizer or Moderna.
It has been found in the latest research that if a person has been previously infected by the covid 19 and also completely vaccinated, then both will help in reducing the chances of getting hospitalized and death. There is a high level of protection in such cases, as per the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
However, it must be noted that the vaccine is the only best tool and method to protect and the vaccine reduces hospital admission and deaths more easily than the antibodies created by the infection.
Also, the US CDC stated that no matter what type of variants will enter the world, the vaccines will always remain a top priority for the government and citizens need to follow all the basic regulations laid by the central government.
According to the data released by the US CDC, more than 35 percent of the entire population is unvaccinated and approximately 79 percent of the citizens have received at least a single dose of vaccine.
The total full vaccination rate stood at 63 percent in the United States and around 35 percent of the eligible individuals have received the booster dose.
As per Dr. Anthony Fauci, those who are unvaccinated possess a real threat to the nation and to the fully vaccinated citizens. Also, the omicron variant has been harsher on the non-vaccinated citizens and the hospital admissions and the mortality rate was found more amongst this group.
