Advent Of human life from the beginning has suffered a drastic change. Human beings discovering contrasting things and experimenting with them from the past has helped promote human life.
Study Finds, The Disastrous Outbreak Of Antibiotic Resistance In 2019
As many scientists have said, human nature is unexplainable and can be considered a box of curiosity that leads them to explore different things.
Technology has grown by leaps; traveling has become more accessible, and the global supply chain has grown up all because of human curiosity and the nature of experimenting. Well, now humans have become independent and can do whatever they want.
Some are doctors, scientists, or lawyers. We all have access to almost everything in this world because of technology. Scientists have discovered many things that give us access even to the moon.
Human beings have become so advanced that we can immediately find the cause and effect of a thing, but in some cases, we lack. Well, by developing things or experimenting with them, we do not expect a thing to rise and shine immediately; it will take time to develop. It will also have some defects in it.
Human life from the 21st century has suffered a lot because of experimenting and discovering things. We also gave rise to many deadly viruses and bacterial diseases such as Ebola, vascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, etc. We lost many innocent lives. But the deadliest virus which humans gave rise to is the Coronavirus which took almost 55.7 lakh lives from the earth.
Excluding the Coronavirus, many other cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, and chronic respiratory disease require immediate attention and assistance. In 2019, many people lost lives because of the propagation of these deadly diseases.
According to WHO’S 2019 global health estimates, the non -communicable diseases make up 7 of the world’s top 10 causes of death. This is also an increase from 4 of the 10 leading causes in 2000. Estimates reveal trends over the last 2 decades in mortality and morbidity caused by diseases and injuries.
Many scientists and doctors highlighted the need for strict actions towards the intense increase in these deadly bacterial diseases.
Dr. Tedros Adhanov Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of WHO, stated the need to take rapid measures to prevent such non -communicable diseases and diagnoses.
Many doctors and scientists invented certain vaccines that help keep the body immune and even insisted on getting vaccinated to prevent health complications. But due to AMR ( antimicrobial resistance), the situation has worsened.
Antimicrobial resistance occurs when microbes evolve mechanisms that protect them from the effect of antimicrobials. This happens when rampant antibiotics treat even common day-to-day minor health problems.
When microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites change in ways that render the medications used to cure the infections, they cause ineffective leads to the development of antimicrobial resistance.
As the Covid-19 and AMR go hand in hand, there are chances that they may impact each other as there is a push to use existing antimicrobials to treat the Covid-19 patients in the absence of the covid vaccine. While managing covid 19 can also lead to the reduction of AMR indirectly.
Many scientists and doctors have also suggested reducing antimicrobial resistance by providing some traditional measures. At the same time, doctors like Ramanan Laxminarayan, Chris Murray, and others have warned people about excessive antibiotic treatments.
AMR indeed poses a significant threat to everyone, including infants. It was the primary reason for deaths in the year 2019. It also explains that excess things can be dangerous. Almost 1.9 million people died due to AMR, and the counting is still going on. If we want to stop such diseases, then we need to take small steps that will prevent this devastating problem.
