The Good Boss
The Good Boss, written and directed by Fernando Leon de Aranoa, is a Spanish comedy film and a corporate satire. In this film, Javier Bardem is featured in the role of Julio Blanco who is a character with solid gray dyed hair which is a perfect trump style too.
The film was produced by Reposado PC, the Mediapro Studio and Basculas Blanco AIE, with the participation of RTVE, TV3, and Orange. The character of Julio Blanco is a charming evil man and it is ironically titled “The Good Boss”. He is represented as the charismatic and manipulative boss of a family-running factory in the Spanish provincial town. The entire plot is about this man who interferes with the life of the employees in an attempt to win an award for business excellence.
Recently the film was shortlisted as one of Spain’s international Oscar nominees and got many fair reviews for mocking the corporates.
