Big Meech: Early life
Demetrius Edward Flenory, also known as Big Meech was born to Charles Flenory and Lucille Flenory on June 21, 1968, in Detroit, Michigan. Big Meech has two siblings, Terry Flenory and Nicole Fenry. Terry Flenory, popularly known as Southwest T is also the co-founder of the BMF organizations and has been in the business of money laundering and drug trafficking along with Big Meech. Nicole Flenory, his younger sister unlike her notorious brothers had kept her distance from drug dealing networks and other criminal activities. Big Meech with his brother Southwest T began selling drugs during their high school years when they sold $50 bags of cocaine on the streets of Detroit in the early 1980s. Big Meech and Southwest T started an organization for drug trafficking in 1985 and was later named the organization, The Black Mafia Family in 2000. Big Meech established the BMF Entertainment company in the early 2000s as a promotion agency for local hip-hop music. Primarily, BMF Entertainment was a front organization of Big Meech and his brother’s money laundering but was also founded as a legitimate business to promote hip-hop music. In 2007, then US Attorney for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia indicted 16 members of the Black Mafia Family. There have been many rumors of who Big Meech has been married to and who is his wife. In 2012, on the BMF Wives Tones Welch also known as Lady Juice declared herself as the First Lady of Big Meech. But this declaration had faced a lot of confrontation including from Magic City, also known as Sugar said that Tones Welch is not Big Meech’s wife. It is believed that Tones Welch died in 2020 due to complications from a seizure but the news isn’t officially confirmed.
