Euphoria, one of the most famous shows of HBO Max has its last episode premiered on 27 February 2022, and though season 2 ended recently, people can’t wait for season 3. As a show becomes famous, there will be so many rumors and controversies surrounding the show and its members, usually about actors.
In the case of Euphoria, there has been a rumor spreading about the shows’ set and directors. The rumor was about the crew and cast members needing to work long hours on the sets of the show.

Jacob Elordi, the actor who plates Nate Jacobs in euphoria and a major cast member of the show addressed the controversies recently in an interview. The actor didn’t address the controversy directly but talked about working long hours on the set.
He responded to the controversies by saying, “We are making movies, you know what I mean? I mean that in the broad sense, like this is filmmaking. And whilst you shouldn’t suffer, to me, there’s great value in working hard And for every hour that I’ve personally put it on set, I can see it when I watch the show.
That’s always been my dream, and if I’m not on a set, I don’t know what I’m doing” Jacob Elorid has also said that he doesn’t have any problem with working long hours and for him, working long hours is like the greatest joy.
He said that the production set takes good care of all of them and they are like a family. Elordi also added, “If I’m working long hours, Sam’s working twice as long, Zendaya’s working three times as long. We’re all in it together”.
The controversies about Euphoria’s set started after an article was published in The Daily Beast which claimed that some of the background actors have talked about euphoria’s director Sam Levinson’s toxic behaviors on set.
The article alleged that Sam Levinson has asked the actors to work long hours on set and is not following covid protocols at the set.
The report also said that the set failed to provide proper meals to the background actors and the set even refused the background actors to use the bathroom. Several complaints have been made to SAG-AFTRA about the set.
When the report became controversial and people started talking about it, HBO came to defend Euphoria set and said that the well-being of their cast and crew is always their top priority.
Barbie Ferreira, who played the character of Kat Hernandez in the show also responded to the rumors by saying that alot of them are untrue.
A rumor has been spread about Ferreira that she has walked out of the set multiple times because of some disagreements with director Sam Levinson. Ferreira hasn’t denied all the rumors, she only said that alot of them are untrue.
